Website description:
The website is in the Czech language, but in some parts of the website, a mixture of Czech and Polish and also Czech and Italian languages is being used. There are grammar mistakes on several parts of the website.
All prices next to the products offered are stated in Euros. After placing the goods into the basket and filling in the basic invoice details, they can be delivered to the Czech Republic.
There are several bookmarks on the top of the main page („Peptides“, „SARMS“, „Aminoacids“, „Nootropics“, „Suplements“, „Cosmetics“, „Diet and Sports Nutrition“, „News“, „Accessories“ and „Unbreakable“). Most of the bookmarks contain a drop-down bar.
There is a large number of products being offered on the website that are aimed at wide spectrum of problems - e.g. the product Nepokalánek 500 mg is intended to be used for hormonal problems in order to stabilise estrogen, prolactin and progesterone, it is supposed to help with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), it is also supposed to have protective and anti-cancer properties. The product Saw Palmetto 500 mg is supposed to have a protective effect on one´s heart, antiinflammatory, antibacterial and antiandrogenous properties and to prevent androgenic alopecia.
What to watch out for:
1) From the business conditions it follows that the operator (administrator) of the website is a legal entity with seat in Hong Kong.
2) The website is registered outside of the Czech Republic and the holder of the domain name is from Poland.
3) There is a significant number of so called prohibited medicinal claims (e.g. „has anti-inflamatory effect“, „protects from eye-related ilnesses due to aging“), which is a breach of Article 7 Par. 3 of Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011, on the provision of food information to consumers. Further, there is a large number of unapproved health claims (e.g. „supports blood supply and can lower the level of LDL“ as stated about a Vitamin E product, or „supports health of the breathing passages and the lung function“ about a Vitamin D product), which is a breach of Article 10 of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 on health claims.
4) It si unclear with some products, whether they are a medical substance or a food supplement (e.g. Melatonin 1 mg, 60 capsules, or Methylene Blue 600 mg, liquid 30 ml USP Grade). At the same time, there is a following claim next to some of the products: „The product (substance) is neither a foodstuff nor a food supplement and is not suitable for human consumptioni“ (e.g. Alpha yohimbine 2.5 mg, 60 capsules). That said, further information about the product contains the amount of active ingredient in one capsule and claim such as: „(the product) is one of the favourite weight-loss food supplements with a strong stimulation effect, it excels in stimulation and increases motivation“.
5) The website lacks mandatory information about food supplements according to Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 and according to Decree 58/2018 Coll., on food supplements (e.g. for the products Inferno Fat Blaze (SLU-PP-332) 5300 mcg and Kanna 25 mg, 60 capsules, there is missing the information that the products are food supplement, there is no warning that food supplements do not constitute a replacement for a balanced diet, no information about net volume of the product etc.)
6) Given that the operator of the website is located outside of the Czech Republic, the activities of Czech supervisory authorities towards the operator are very limited.
